Yvonne Houser Obituary
Muncy, PA - Yvonne C. Houser, 68, longtime resident of New Hampshire and current resident of Muncy, PA died Friday, March 14, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport.
Born October 2, 1956 in San Diego, CA, she was a daughter of the late Edward W. Teeter and Mary G. (Stephens) Swartz, of Muncy, PA who survives.
Yvonne attended Hughesville High School and took courses in psychology and sociology at the New England College. She lived in New Hampshire for 20 years before moving back to Muncy. Yvonne worked at Sylvania inspecting circuit boards and enjoyed the friendship of her coworkers until her retirement in 1999.
She enjoyed crocheting and spending time outdoors. Yvonne loved animals and collecting milk glasses and Scottie dogs.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Michael Houser, of Manchester, NH; a brother, James Teeter, of Palmetto, FL; three sisters, Patricia (William) McCloskey, of Hughesville, PA Brenda Knapp (Jeff Evelhair), of Montgomery, PA and Laura Swartz, of SC; three grandchildren, Isaiah Michael, Taylor Jean and Nevaeh Yvonne Houser; and two great-grandchildren, Calypso and Aries.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Linda Berggren.
