Benjamin Aronson Obituary

Benjamin Aronson, age 90, passed away Oct. 26 in Alpharetta Ga at Wellstar Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Lumber City, GA., and grew up in Adel, GA.

He lived in Savannah, GA for over 30 years. He was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob. Benjamin practiced as a CPA until age 80 and was a partner in the CPA firm, Karp, Aronson, Ronning.

Benjamin also resided in Florida and Baton Rouge, LA, prior to moving to Alpharetta, GA


He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Pauline Aronson ; a daughter, Fern Michell Aronson; three siblings,: Phyllis Aronson Levin, Sam Aronson, and Leon Aronson.


Surviving are : his wife of 64 years Muriel "Mitzi" Kapell; a son, Mark Alan Aronson of Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Anna Haspel Aronson of New York City, and Marla Susan Aronson of Los Angeles, CA.; a sister, Rosalee Aronson Bogo of Naples, FL; sisters-in-law: Barbara Aronson of Savannah, GA, and Kay Aronson of Cumming GA; brother-in-law, Jerry Bogo of Naples, FL.

Graveside services will be held at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Bonaventure Cemetery. Rabbi Avigdor Slatus will officiate.

Benjamin's service will be streamed via ZOOM
