Francis Morris Obituary
Born on September 5, 1958, Francis was an extraordinary man whose life and legacy touched countless people. As a dedicated business owner and public servant in utilities, Francis found purpose in serving others, ensuring that the communities around him were supported and cared for.
Beyond his professional achievements, Francis was a man who loved deeply. He cherished his family and friends, always making time for those who mattered most to him. In his free time, he enjoyed the thrills of NASCAR and dirt track racing, and he was never far from the excitement of a slot machine. These passions reflected his zest for life and his ability to find joy in both work and play.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Omar A. Morris and Ruby M. (Jones) Morris; his siblings, Patricia (Pat) Williams, Donald (Don) Morris, Laverne Morris, and James (Jim) Morris; and his beloved daughter, Stephanie Sims.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Morris; his children: Francis Morris, Jr. (Sherri), Eddie Joe Morris, Lisa Morris (Matt), and Audrey Sims Burroughs (John); his brothers: Richard "Dick" Morris (Jean), Roger Morris, Dennis Morris (Kim), and Edward "Eddie" Morris (Rhonda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by his love, wisdom, and unforgettable presence.
Francis E. Morris will be remembered not only for his dedication and talents, but also for the love, laughter, and memories he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all he touched.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
