Irene Andris

1933 - 2026

Irene Andris, 93, of Savannah, GA and daughter of Anthony and Mary Andris, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday February 25, 2026.

Irene was a member of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church. At a young age she learned the love of creating food and serving others at her family owned restaurant, Anton's, on Broughton Street. Irene enjoyed walking the beaches of Tybee Island and having adventures with her family and many grandchildren, and had a green thumb. She loved tremendously and had a generous spirit.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Perry; three grandchildren, Irene Perry Wood and her husband, Clinton, Anthony Joseph Perry and his wife, Ashley, and Steven Alexander Perry; four great-grandchildren, Cameron Joseph Perry and his wife, Jada, Kiersten Ann House and her husband, SaeQuan, Cayden David Perry, and Kaelyn Marie Peebles and husband, Wendall; 4 great great-grandchildren Olin, Rosalie, Bennett, and Mylah.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 27, 2026, 4 o'clock until 5:15 in the afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Ave., Savannah, Georgia. The Trisagion Service will follow at 5:15 pm at the funeral home.

Irene's funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 12 noon in St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church,14 West Anderson Street, Savannah, Georgia. Burial will follow at Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
