James Witt, Obituary
He spent 25 years working as a Firefighter for the Savannah Fire Department. He loved traveling to swim meets and softball tournaments with his children. Later in life, he enjoyed being the full-time chauffeur for his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Witt, children, James Witt (Julie Woody), JR, and Jackie Griffin (Josh Griffin); his grandchildren, Hailey and Riley Maddox, and Kye and Kolt Griffin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Diann Witt Webster, and his parents, James L. and Bertie Frances Witt.
Visitation for "Joe" will be held on Friday December 19, 2025 at 6:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory Garden City Chapel.
A graveside service to Honor Joe's Life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 20th at Hilcrest Abbey Cemetery, 1600 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404.
