Paul Fleischer Obituary

U.S. Veteran

Paul Charles Fleischer

April 9, 1931 – September 12, 2025

Paul Charles Fleischer, 94, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia. Born on April 9, 1931, Paul lived a life marked by dedication, service, and achievement.

A proud Army veteran, Paul, served his country with honor before embarking on a successful career in the corporate world. After earning his degree from Westchester College, he went on to a distinguished career at ABCO, where he retired as Vice President of Research. His contributions to the field were numerous, and he was respected for his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to innovation.

Paul was known for his warm, kind nature and his deep love for his family. He made his home in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he lived for over 50 years surrounded by friends and loved ones before moving to Savannah. Despite the demands of his career, Paul always made time for his family and his community. He served with Civitan Club of Spartanburg and with Meals on Wheels. Paul was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. His passion for life, sharp wit, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Ingrid Dahlgren Fleischer; second wife, Barbara Ann Fleischer; his parents, Paul Fleischer, Sr. and Dorothy Roslyn Lowekamp; and sister, Joan Marie Hoover.

Survivors include his children, Laura Fleischer Coronado (Robert), Linda Fleischer Brooks (Mike), and Paul Eric Fleischer (Leah); five grandchildren, Zach Pomeroy, Jake Pomeroy, Alec Pomeroy, Josh Fleischer, and Matthew Fleischer; and sisters, Claire E. Walsh and Dorothy Roslyn Hodge.

A private service will be held to honor the life of Paul Fleischer at a later date.
