Terrell Nease Obituary
Terrell was a lifelong member of Marlow Methodist Church where he was the song leader for many years. A graduate of Effingham County High School where he played football and he really loved football, especially Georgia Bulldog football. Terrell was a Past Master of Richard T. Turner Lodge #116 F. & A.M., a 32nd Degree, Scottish Rite-Valley of Savannah Mason, and Past President of the Shriner's Dune Cat unit. He was an HVAC technician and during his career, he worked for Bowen Mechanical, SCAD, and Chatham County.
Those who knew Terrell, he was always a husky fellow, but he wasn't always that way. From birth to about five years of age he was slim and trim, then the husky gene kicked in. Because of the husky gene and his husky heart, we now have a husky angel to watch over us.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.I. and Betty Nease, and his wife, Shavonne Stafford Nease.
He is survived by his brother, Jimmy Nease (Kaye) of Marlow and his sister, Robin Norvelle of Guyton; step-daughter, Meghan Gnann (Califf), granddaughter, Ivory Gnann; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Marlow Cemetery.

I worked with Terrell in Chatham County. He was always running around trying to keep everyone comfortable and never complained about all the work he had. I am so sorry for his loss. I will miss our chats at the thermostats. RIP and prayers to his loved ones.
