Wanda Parker Obituary
She will be missed by her children, Clarence A. Parker "Tony", Paula D. Saxon (Bo), and DeAnne M. Gordon (Keith); grandchildren, Anthony L. Parker (Tess), Stephanie J. Koffroth (Christopher), Traci A. Moore (Harris), Trey Saxon (Nicki), Ashlee D. Goldman (C.J.), Allison D. Gale (Dylan), Allisa D. Gordon (Chris Harper), and Avery D. Gordon; great-grandchildren, Ty, Tage, Reagan, Cason, Kosta, Stella, Kaydence, Aria, Kaizer, Lakelynn, and Calynn; sisters, JoDean Tullos, Carol Jones, and Cathy Hughes (Willie), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
She was born in Savannah, Georgia and had lived in Guyton for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Horace L. Parker, Jr., whom she lovingly took care of for the last 20 years of his life after he suffered a stroke. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Tripp L. Parker and her mother, Florence Shuman Poore. She was employed at the Shellhouse Restaurant for 11 years and was also a homemaker and caregiver. She will be missed.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The memorial service to honor her life will follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
