Bart Thomas Obituary

COSHOCTON: Bart A. Thomas, age 42, of Coshocton, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010.
He was born in Coshocton on November 12, 1967 to Lewis and Mary (Cognion) Thomas. Bart was a 1987 graduate of Riverview High School and worked for Ross Brothers Trucking and then for Oxford Mining, he was also a volunteer fire fighter for the Jackson Township and Conesville Fire Departments. Bart loved to golf, hunt, and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Lewis and Mary Thomas; brothers, Eric (Wendy) Thomas and Trent Thomas; sister, Trista (James) McCloy; and nieces and nephew, Amy Thomas, Ann Thomas, Loren Lindig III, Tania McCloy, and Dawn McCloy; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Eloise Thomas and Ambrose and Marie Cognion; and niece, Kayla Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 11, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Coshocton County, P.O. Box 1284, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
