Lysbeth Smailes Obituary
WOOSTER: Lysbeth Ann "Libby" Smailes, 83 of Wooster passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born August 19, 1933 in Dover, the daughter of John L. and Grace C. Allton Woods. She married Thomas Alan Smailes in 1954. He survives.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Catherine Ann Dunaway (Michael Dunaway) of Marietta, David Alan Smailes (Maureen Noonan) of Framingham, Mass., Suzanne Allyn Smailes (Sheila Darrow) of Yellow Springs and Robert Andrew Smailes (Kazuko Smailes of Kobe, Japan.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wooster United Methodist Church, 243 N. Market St., Wooster with Rev. Charles Tobias officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the United Methodist Women (UMW), 243 N. Market St., Wooster, OH 44691 or to the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AP., c/o Carol Thompson, 868 Lois Ave., Wooster, OH 44691.
