Marthalue Matis Obituary
Coshocton - Marthalue "Marty" G. Matis, 78, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at River Crossing Nursing and Rehabilitation in Coshocton. She was born in Muskingum County on January 29, 1940 to the late John and Hazel (Dickerson) Cullins.
She was a member of Liberty Church and retired Novelty Advertising. She loved to collect bells and jewelry. She was an avid sponsor for the Upper Room Assembly food pantry.
Marty is survived by her son Bryan (Shelly) Brillhart of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Matis; son Bradley Brillhart; sister Sondra McElfresh; and brother John Cullins.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:00am - 1:00pm where funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Stan Braxton officiating. A cremation will take place following the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Upper Room Food Pantry, 803 Vine St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812; envelopes will be available at he funeral home.
