Richard Bachman Obituary
Coshocton - Richard "Dick" E. Bachman, age 74, of Coshocton, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Dick was born in Coshocton on December 8, 1943 to the late Edward and Kathryn (Norris) Bachman. Dick worked in Maintenance at AEP for over 40 years. On August 9, 1985, he married Betty (Reichley) who preceded him in death on March 26, 2011. He was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Antique Tractor Club. He enjoyed old cars, being outdoors, canoeing, and hunting.
Dick is survived by his daughter, Christy (Chad) Bible, two step-daughters, Becky (June Conley) LaRue and Robin Andrews, three grandchildren: Anthony (Morgan Bosley) King, Abby King, and Bridgette Bible; five siblings: Sister Janice Bachman, Marilyn (Frank Biro) Gibbs, Joe (Kathy) Bachman, Tom (Molly) Bachman, and Rita (Steve) Coutre; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife, Dick is preceded in death by his step-son, Delbert LaRue.
Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5-7:45 p.m. with a Wake Service starting at 7:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice of Coshocton at 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or to Sacred Heart Catholic at 805 Main St, Coshocton, OH 43812.
