Roger Maple Obituary
COSHOCTON: Roger W. Maple, 83, of Coshocton passed away at Autumn Extended Care on Sunday May 11, 2014.
Roger was born in Plainfield on June 9, 1930 to the late Harry and Lucy (Parks) Maple.
He had worked as a coal miner and at Cabot Lumber. Roger loved spending time outdoors, doing yard work and mowing grass.
He is survived by his daughter Mary (Mike) Garbrandt of Newcomerstown; his long time companion Goldie Heck of Coshocton; step-sons Harold (Kathy) Heck of West Lafayette; Jimmy Heck and George Heck both of Coshocton; sister-in-law Geraldine Maple of Coshocton; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his five brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help Roger's family defray funeral expenses.

A man who could light up he room always had a smile and gave u a good laugh..so sorry for the loss. Goldie my deepest sympathies to u and the family. He truely was a good man . I will miss him.. I will remember him always..
