Don Timme

1956 - 2021

Don Allen Timme, 64, of Kingwood and Woodville, TX, passed peacefully into Glory on Friday, October 15, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was born December 14, 1956 in Conroe, TX to I.B. Timme and Benita May Schuhsler. He grew up in Conroe, graduating from Conroe High in 1975. Don briefly attended SHSU, where he met his wife, Kay.

Don is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kay Moye Timme, of Kingwood and Woodville; son Cameron Timme, daughter-in-law Casey, and grandchildren Claire, Carly and Carson of Kingwood; sister Janice Campbell (Tommy); nieces Karla Davis (Thomas), Kellie Sanders (Keith), Amy Campbell; nephew Charlie Campbell; 10 great nieces and nephews; in-laws Doris and James Moye who loved him like a son; sister- and brother-in-law Karen and Robert Bush and nephews Kevin and Eric Bush; extended family and many friends.

Don worked 40 years in the oil field equipment industry and retired in 2017. He spent his entire adult life loving and providing for his family. Don enjoyed attending rock and blues concerts with his wife and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. During recent years, he enjoyed working outdoors at his second home in Woodville.

Don Timme was a fine and honorable Christian man. He was loving, kind, humble, gentle, honest, hard-working, loyal, witty and a gentleman. He loved his family deeply. He always put everyone else ahead of himself. He is much loved by his close and extended family, friends, co-workers, schoolmates, and by his son's friends. The world is a better place because Don was here. He will be greatly missed but always remembered.

A celebration of Don's life will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Rosewood Funeral Home (2602 S. Houston Ave., Humble, TX, 77396). Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

The family requests that attendees wear a mask.
