E. Dellinger Obituary

E. Mabry Dellinger passed from this earth to his heavenly home on December 4, 2021. Mabry was born on May 25, 1938, in Shawnee, OK to Ernest and Louise Dellinger, who proceeded him in death. He is also proceeded in death by his sister, Donna Ketchbaw. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn, of 34 years, his children, Kimberly Lemons (Lane); David Dellinger (Denise); his two precious granddaughters, Grace and Kate Lemons, his nephew and niece, Juaquin Ketchbaw (Michelle), KodieAnn Ketchbaw, and his two beloved cousins, Lynn Ourso(Sandra and their daughter Caroline), and Larry Ourso (Sherry).

Mabry spent his professional career as an attorney of law and after retirement spent the rest of his life doing the things he loved most with Carolyn, such as sailing, golfing, and travelling the country in their R.V. Mabry was a proud Jag Officer, Lieutenant Commander, in the United States Navy, a loyal member of Sigma Chi fraternity, and a life-long member of the Houston Livestock Show. He was also a co-founder and member of the Re-Group BBQ Team. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and Foundations Sunday School class, in Conroe, TX.

A celebration of his life will be held at First Methodist Church, Conroe, TX, on February 19, 2022, at a time to be determined.

So saddened to learn of Mabry's passing and thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn and family. My wife and I spent many good times with Mabry and Carolyn, from Texas to Tennessee. He will be missed by all who knew him, but never forgotten.
