Funeral Service for Evie Olson, beloved wife, mother, and sister will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 am in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. Ray Hyden officiating. Private interment will be held at County Line cemetery. Mrs. Olson was born on October 24, 1948 in Chandler, Texas to Leonard Lee Henry, Sr. and Birdie Jewel (McCurley) Henry. She passed away on peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the age of 72.

Evie is survived by her loving family: her husband and best friend, Orvin Olson; daughters, Crystal Deshotel and husband, David; sisters, Barbara Gay, Linda McCleod and Kathleen Renfro; brothers, Walter Henry and Ralph Henry; grandchildren, Steven Westmoreland and Gavin Deshotel; great grandson, Oliver Westmoreland; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive.

Evie was truly a loving, sweet, and caring soul. It was shown all throughout her everyday life as she lovingly cared for her family, her garden, and her sweet pets. Evie loved crafting and homemaking, but was also a willing, but reluctant fishing partner with her husband, Orvin. She met and married the love of her life, Orvin on December 1, 1990. They built a beautiful life together and were blessed by our Lord from the day they met. Evie was dearly loved by all her family and friends and her sweet smile and generous heart will be missed by all.
