Irene was present during many happy times. I remember when she was very young taking over the dance floor with non-stop energy. She was always pleasant and polite when she visited. It is sad to see that she and father are no longer here.

While I do not know your family, I'm a fellow Texan who just read about your beloved daughter in the international media. How wonderful that Miss Irene's story has touched the world! I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Irene's cherished mother, father, brother, and the rest of her family, both near and far. My heart also goes out to Irene's adoring friends and classmates. I'd like to express my observations about your stunning, kind, and unique daughter. Irene is a dynamic, charming, and uncommon young lady. (I'll bet she has a wicked sense of humor, too.) I speak about Irene in the present tense, as I do about my own loved ones who have gone before me. Your sweet little girl will forever surround her devoted parents and brother with her indelible, vibrant spirit and soul. Jeffrey and Mandy performed a selfless act on October 7, 2003. The two of you performed another selfless act on May 5, 2022, when you released dearest Irene to the heavens. She is now an Angel of God! Irene's bright light is so evident and palpable. She will always, always shine it upon her loving and doting kindred. I fervently pray that God provides this special family with peace, comfort, solace, hope, and even joy in knowing that dearest Irene is safe, happy, and at peace herself. There is no sadness, nor suffering. Your brave young daughter's story will undoubtedly contribute to saving the lives of other sons and daughters. Indeed, Miss Irene's memory will be for MANY blessings. I believe the Sunderland's, as well as the very caring Tammy Allemont (see below), are blessed with purposes in honoring the memories of their precious children. These exceptional parents (along with Irene's loving brother) possess the strength, fortitude, and constitutions to carry forth their memories and their missions. May Miss Irene's illustrious, creative, clever, and fashion-forward sensibilities leave impressionable marks on her friends and outside admirers (like me). Godspeed to the Sunderland and Allemont Angels, who will always be present in the hearts and minds of their loved ones. They WILL shower their families, friends, and outsiders with blessings!

Such a beautiful child. Words cannot express my heartbreak for you and your family. I buried my child in 2020 under the same circumstances. We are praying for your family.
