Lorraine Marie Quental went home to be with Jesus on her birthday, August 12, 2021, at the age of 79. Lorraine was the middle child of 5 children born to Albert and Rita Belanger in Swansea, Massachusetts. She is survived by her siblings Pauline Pavao of MA, Robert Belanger of RI, and Juliette Couitt of Conroe, TX her husband David Quental who recently celebrated 60 years of marriage in June, and their three daughters, Cynthia (Jeff) Quigley, Karen (Rick) Gordon, Cheryl (John) Dvorak, seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In 1985 they relocated from Falmouth, MA to Spring, TX where they have lived for the last 36 years. The couple celebrated 60 years of marriage in June. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Lorraine loved working in her garden, playing games, doting on her grandchildren, and showing love and kindness to her neighbors and friends. Lorraine was an active member of Church Project in the Woodlands. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Interment Service for immediate family is being held at the Houston National Cemetery on Friday, October 29 at 11:15 am. Friends and extended family are invited to join in "A Celebration of Life Event" on October 29 from 2-4pm at 1816 Rocky Hills Dr in Conroe, TX 77304.
