Memorial Service for Richard Kinney of Conroe, Texas will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. Tim Byrd officiating. Richard was born on July 24, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to James and Grace Kinney. He passed away at the age of 76 on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home. Richard retired from the Navy in 1980, after 20 years of faithful service. He was a loving husband to Marilyn for 50 years and a caring, thoughtful father to his two daughters and their families. He will be greatly missed. Richard is survived by: his wife, Marilyn Kinney of Conroe, Texas; daughters, Candy Hilton of Conroe, Texas and Sandy Allen and husband, David of Jacksonville, Florida.; grandchildren, Renee Shannon, Jennifer Hilton, Sherry Shannon and Benjamin Hilton; great grandchildren, Anna Marie, Kaleb, Merry and Jewels; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive. A special thanks to his niece, Susan Kinney for all of her love and support.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Richard's passing. Although I only recently learned of his loss, I am sorry to hear of the loss of such a good man and co-worker. My sincere condolences to his family and friends, although belated.

The entire Kinney family is in our thoughts and prayers, we worked with Richard at The Woodlands Resort for several years, such a sweet man. May he now rest in the arms of the angels.
