Rickey Key

1952 - 2025

Rickey A. Key, beloved soulmate of Carolyn Key went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 12, 2025. His loving, gentle soul touched all those who met him. Only his love for the Lord was greater than his love for his family and friends. He was surrounded by many of those family and friends and his ever-loyal dog, Katy, in the last days of his battle with cancer. Rick was a witness for Christ and a faithful member of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas. He proudly shared his famous Cross cutout penny coupled with a little prayer to any and all in need.

He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Misty Kracy and husband, Chuck Kracy, and sister, Trois Roe and husband, Ron Roe. He also had a loving extended family - Carolyn's son - Christopher Brown, two daughters - Donna Lene plus Michelle Miller and her son, Chase, who both preceded him in death. Family also included 7 grandchildren and one grandson (deceased).

Rick donated his body to UT Medical School, Houston, TX.
