Stella Tune Obituary
A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Stella dedicated 30 years to teaching special education, touching the lives of countless students across various schools. Her exceptional dedication to her profession earned her multiple "Teacher of the Year" awards.
Stella was a devout member of Church of Christ, where she found great solace and community. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, evident in her love for singing hymnals and reading the Bible.
Her artistic talents were expressed through painting, drawing, and coloring. These hobbies were not only a personal refuge but also a way to connect with others, sharing her creations and the joy they brought.
Stella is survived by her son, Michael Reese (&Kevra); daughter, Tamera Mastroianni (&Scott); sisters, Sharron and Sandy (&Randy); eight grandchildren, Josh (&D'Ambra), Jessica (&Javier), Jordan (&Andrew), Brandon, Phoenix, Travis (&Libby), Laura (&Chad), and Zachary (&Shannon); 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, Lara Sue (&Mark), Emily, Lynnette; and nephews, Tyler and Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Stella Tune; children, Dan Madison Reese and Regina Renee Mayeux; and nephew, George Bryant.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Elgin Church of Christ, 703 N Ave C, Elgin, TX 78621. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the help fight breast cancer at https://www.komen.org in Stella's memory. Stella's legacy will live on through her family and her art, continuing to inspire and influence even in her absence. We love you Momma!

I was in Jr high before I found out her name was Stella Danielle. We always called her Dani. My thoughts were why would we call her Dani when she had such a beautiful name like Danielle. Love and miss you
