Susan Bloomingdale Obituary

In Loving Memory of Susan Dorothy Bloomingdale, who went home to heaven on January 10, 2024. Susan was a beloved homemaker, wife, and mother, who was born on October 14, 1945, in Milwaukee County, Wis. Susan's journey took her from the Midwest to the heart of Texas, where she made lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know her.

In 1971, Susan settled in Conroe, Texas, making it her primary residence. She also maintained a second home in Port Mansfield, Texas, where she spent significant time indulging in her love for fishing. A woman of diverse talents, Susan's early years were marked by her love for horsemanship. She spent her youth working at a stable, navigating the world on horseback. She found joy in saltwater fishing and sailing on her beloved boat, aptly named; "Susie."

Coming from a family of talented artists, Susan expressed her creativity through oil paintings, watercolors, and charcoal. She loved baking and had a big place in her heart for St. Patrick Day where she celebrated her proud Irish heritage with adorning herself in festive outfits and crazy glasses. Susan's vibrant spirit extended to her love for dance, sharing jokes, and expressing thoughtfulness through mailed cards and newspaper clippings.

She is survived by three loving daughters, Sandra Koth Garza (Daniel), Angela Koth Arthur (Lloyd), and Monica Koth Wolf (Edwin). Susan leaves behind a legacy of love through her eight grandchildren, Justin Koth (Tina), Ricky Pasket, Amanda Hicks (Kevin), Matthew Wolf, David Arthur, Brady Arthur, MaKayla Arthur, and Jadeyn Arthur; and her great-grandchildren, Kylee and Elijah Hicks, Chevelle, Aislynn, Canaan, Henry, and Primrose Koth. With numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Susan's life will be held on Saturday, February 10, at 10 a.m., at The Light Church, 13145 I-45 North, Willis, Texas 77318.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a donation to The Light Church; in honor of Susan's generous spirit and commitment to uplifting others.

May her memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
