Billy O'Dell Obituary
Billy Dale O'Dell, 81, of London passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.
The son of Ernest and Lillian Dale O'Dell, he was born Oct. 15, 1941, in Seagraves, Texas. He married Mary E. Fitzgerald, on Oct. 16, 1964, in Magnolia. He was a retired Compressor Processing Superintendent with Noram Gas Transmission.
Billy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was of the Baptist faith, saved at the age of 14 at Village Baptist Church under Dr. Amos Bennett, and enjoyed beekeeping, his animals, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby Gene O'Dell and Sammy O'Dell.
Billy is survived by his wife, Mary O'Dell of London; two sons, Jeffery O'Dell and wife Lana of London; Scottie O'Dell of London; two granddaughters, Katelyn O'Dell of Russellville; Haley Sosebee and husband Steven of Dardanelle; grandson, Landon Whorton and wife Macie of Dardanelle; two great grandsons, Timothy Murray and Hayes Whorton both of Dardanelle.
Graveside Service and burial will be held at 10 a.m. today at Price Cemetery in London by Humphrey Funeral Service. Bro. Maxie Longing will officiate. Internet obituary and online guest book are available at www.humphreyfuneral.com.
