Carolyn Sue Clubb Parker, 80, of London, departed from this earth, Saturday, September 27, 2025.
The daughter of Clyde Josh Clubb and Jennie Marie Kirkpatrick Clubb, she was born March 9, 1945, in Clarksville. She married Paul Ray Parker on May 23, 1964, at Clarksville. Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church in Knoxville and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, genealogy, crafting, scrapbooking, reading, and cooking. One of Carolyn's most cherished traditions was making peanut butter pie during the holidays. She enjoyed setting aside a day each week to visit town with her friends and loved ones.
At home, she found comfort in the company of her cats, especially her beloved Sysco. Carolyn also treasured teaching her granddaughters to sew and create, passing along her skills and creativity. She delighted in researching her family's genealogy and spent many hours reading both her Bible and Christian fiction. Through her guidance and traditions, she shared a spirit of love and togetherness that will remain a lasting treasure for her family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Paul Ray Parker, her daughter Anita Phillips and husband Daniel, three granddaughters Brianna Pate (TJ Pate), Cassie Beall (Alex Beall) and Alana Coffee (Carl Coffee) and six great-grandchildren Cooper Pate, Teagan Pate, Eleanor Beall, Caius Beall, Sylvia Beall, and Cayden Coffee.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Monday, September 29, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Knoxville.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Knoxville First Baptist Church. Rev Richard Snyder and Rev Jonathan Whitlock will officiate. Burial will be at Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Pallbearers are Doy England, Anthony Freeman, Larry Freeman, Joey Huddleston, Ronnie Parker, and Russell Parker. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Crotts, Glen Freeman, Raymond Parker, Chris Pickett, Michael Riddell, and Chris Tinnell.
