Fannie Rackley Obituary

Fannie Rackley, age 101, of Hector died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, at Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 8, 1921, in Nogo to John Greene and Mary Mable Dean McCuin. She was a member of Hector Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, James Rackley; a daughter, Virginia Turner; an infant son; five sisters; a brother; a grandson, Jay Rackley; a daughter-in-law, Sara Rackley; and a son-in-law, Willis Standridge.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Loyd Rackley of Hector and special friend, Doris Peugh of Atkins and Darrell and Reta Rackley of Hector; a daughter, Oleeta Standridge of Ben Hur; a sister, Kathleen Carr of Russellville; a son-in-law, Robert Turner of Hector; 12 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at Hector Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Latham and the Rev. Charles King officiating. Burial will be in Nogo Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Standridge, Ronald Standridge, Johnny Rackley, Jackie Rackley, Levon Standridge and Aaron Drewry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Barnes, Casey Campbell and Cody Burch.

Memorials may be made to Nogo Cemetery Fund, in care of: Donna Andrews, 519 Sand Springs Road, Russellville, AR 72802.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Bonnie Wilson and Gail Carr.
