John Paul Noblett, age 66, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born Jan. 21, 1955, in Danville, to the late Cecil Malone Noblett and Victorine Avey Noblett. He loved hunting, fishing, playing poker and spending time with his grandkids.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Terry Noblett.
Survivors include two children, Tammy Sanders (Jerry) of Pottsville, Kerrie Monroy (Zosimo) of Little Rock; one sister, Christine George of Dardanelle; two brothers, Bill Noblett, Charles Noblett both of Dardanelle; lifetime friend, Willie Williams (Billie) of Russellville; six grandchildren, Lane Finney of Pottsville, Blake Finney (Autumn) of Crossett, Katelyn Finney of Pottsville, Jaci Sanders of Pottsville, Iker Monroy of Little Rock, Ian Monroy of Little Rock; and two great-grandchildren, John Luke Finney and Logan Finney both of Crossett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Gateway Pentecostal Church of God in Russellville with Jered Vinson and Luke Chronister officiating. Visitation is being held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Atkins.
Pallbearers will be Billy Noblett Jr., Jason Noblett, Douglas George, David George, William Williams, Eddie Bush and Dustin Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Clifton Clowers Memorial Hunting Club.
