Mary Sue Hicks Silvertooth went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2022, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehab Center in Russellville.
She was born in Dardanelle to Wiley and Virgie Turner Hicks on April 13, 1927.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill, Jim and Frank; sisters, Edith, Mildred, Barness and Ruby; her husbands, John Robinson, Ray Person and Mark Silvertooth.
Survivors include her daughter, Johnnie Sue Robinson (Terry) Christy; grandsons, Brent Christy (Hannah), Tyler Christy (Samy); great grandchildren, Kaylie, Kadence and Selina Christy; daughter, Peggy Person; son, Mark Silvertooth (Donna); grandchildren, Alex and Heather Silvertooth; special nephews, George Coffey (Toby), Gary Hicks; niece, Sara Adams; sister-in-law, Addie Robinson Parks of Prairie View; several nieces, nephews and family and friends.
She was a charter member of the Dardanelle First Free Will Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3141, a member of the Council Oaks Eastern Star and she retired from Tyson Foods in Dardanelle after 26 years.
Funeral services are being held at 2 p.m. today at the Dardanelle First Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Denver Robinson and Brent Christy officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Brent Christy, Mike Hopkins, Jesse Hopkins, Roy Pyle, Jeff Hicks and Danny Neeley.
Family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at Legacy Heights for the love and care given to Mary Sue (Granny).
