Patsy Jean Clark, 77, of Russellville, AR, departed this life on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Johnson County Regional Hospital in Clarksville, AR. She was born October 12, 1946, in Trumann, AR, to the loving embrace of Vade and Donna Vanita Passmore Campbell.
Patsy was not just a successful Business Owner with Patsy's Peak and Antiques, but she was also a devoted member of the Dover First Baptist Church, where her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found solace and strength in her spiritual community, cherishing the bonds of fellowship and devotion to her beliefs.
Her unwavering faith was paralleled by her deep commitment to family. Patsy found joy and purpose in nurturing her relationships, both within her immediate family and extended kin. She adored her children, Kimberly Staton and Jimmy Gunter, and took immense pride in her six grandchildren, Tadera Wiseman, Adrianne Garland, Kiya Moreno, Madison Gunter, Venuita Gunter, and Daniel Gunter. Their love and support were her greatest treasures.
Patsy was a woman of many talents and passions. She found contentment in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was working around her home, tending to her garden, or engaging in yardwork. Her presence brought warmth and vitality to every endeavor she pursued.
She now joins her beloved husband, Larry D. Clark, her parents, and her son Richard Garland in eternal peace.
She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will endure through the generations. Patsy is survived by her daughter, son, grandchildren, sisters Jimmie Atkinson (Clell), Connie Campbell, Wanda Freeman (Boyd), Euna McCutcheon (Ricky), brothers Ronnie Campbell (Judy) and Brandy Campbell, brother-in-law Donnie Waldo, as well as numerous other relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and grace.
The funeral service, a celebration of her life and faith, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Humphrey Chapel, officiated by Bro. Dennis Yarbrough. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Mt. Airy Memorial Cemetery in Clarksville, AR, under the care of Humphrey Funeral Service.
