Phyllis Boswell, age 72, of Lamar, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born August 5, 1950, in West Plains, Missouri to Anthony and Goldie Harris Rackers.
She was a graduate of Russellville High School. She was a co-owner of Dixon's London Mini-Mart for many years and was also a homemaker.
She was a member of Saint John Catholic Church. In her early years, she was an active bowler and participated in many bowling leagues.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Austin.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Boswell; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Chad Johnson; two grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Johnson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Elaine Rackers, Bill and Katie Rackers and Anthony (Bud) Rackers; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and her best friend of many years, Ann Rudder.
All services are private, and arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
