Ralph W. Wilson, 83, of Dardanelle, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1942, in Fannie, Arkansas, to Carl and Elsie (Tedford) Wilson.
In his younger years, Wilson enjoyed duck and deer hunting and fishing, and he was a longtime member of Ducks Unlimited. He attended Mt. Ida High School and later Henderson State College, Arkansas Tech University and LSU, where he received a graduate degree in banking.
Wilson worked for many years as a banker. He was employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Stuttgart and retired as executive vice president of First State Bank of Ola and Plainview. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Peugh Wilson of Dardanelle; one son, Chris Wilson (Ginny) of Fayetteville; nieces Crystal Davies (Jeff) of Conway and Brittany Cunningham (Jason) of Russellville; nephews Paul Peugh Jr. (Misty) of Dardanelle and Nathan Peugh (Nikki) of Pottsville; several great-nieces and great-nephews; sister-in-law Nancy Underwood (Larry) of Dardanelle; and brothers-in-law Tommy Peugh (Betty) of Russellville and Paul Peugh Sr. of Dardanelle.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.
