Today we gather here to mourn our loss, but also to celebrate the life of William Monroe (Rocky) Lewis, age 68, from Moreland, AR. He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, and best friend.
Rocky was born in Greenville, Mississippi, but lived in Arkansas his entire life, proud to call Dover/Moreland area home. Besides being a skilled HVACR technician and a Master Electrician, he was also an outstanding cook, an avid gardener and fisherman, and a patriot who loved his country. He was also an amazing guitar player and musician who loved classic rock and roll.
He was proceeded in death by his father James Russell, his mother Vena Mae, his nephew Kenny, his beloved Puppy Dog, and his brother Bubba.
He is survived by his wife Pam, his daughter Valerie, his son David, his sisters Shirley and Jean, his nephews Jason and Michael, his niece Leanne, and his puppy Walter. Rocky was the light of all of our lives while here on Earth, but now he's Heaven bound, where he will no doubt be received with open arms… and a cold Busch beer.
Here's to you, Rocky! You'll live on in our hearts and minds until the end of time.
