AGE: 85 • Glendora
Augustine J. "Gus" Matteo, on October 13, 2011, of Glendora. Age 85. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Simon). Devoted father of Marianne Matteo (Walt), Nicholas Matteo (Linda), Peter Matteo (Sandra), Cecelia Matteo, Gus Matteo, Annella Mecouch (Dale) and Carmen Crescenzo. Dear brother of Ann Bachmann. Also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and nieces and nephews. Mr. Matteo was an Army vet of WWII and a member of Glendora VFW Post #8714. There will be a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 12noon at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede. Entombment St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Chews Landing. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Matteo's memory to Holy Child Parish, 13 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede, NJ 08078.
