AGE: 73 • Gloucester City
Charles Wm. Thomson (Chalie), on July 3, 2013, Age 73, of Gloucester City, NJ, Chalie passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family who meant everything to him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol A. (nee McCoy). He was the devoted father of Kelle Curran (Thomas), Chuck (Lori), Scott, and Kevin (Jen), adoring grandfather of Sean (Abby) and Tara Curran, Chelsea, Lindsay, Sydney, and Trey Thomson, Kyle, Darby, and Dylan Thomson, and Megan, Logan, and Erin Thomson, and admiring fan and great-grandfather of Cooper Curran.
Chalie was active in the Gloucester Cloud Lodge, the Excelsior Consistory Lodge of Collingswood, and the Gloucester City Lions Club.
Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Chalie's life Monday 7 to 9pm and Tuesday 10am until the Service at 11am at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gift of Life or Second Chance at Life at donors1.org 401 N. 3rd St. Philadelphia, PA 19103. Mom Mom Carol, Kevin and the entire Thomson Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I have seen how you have struggled to take great care of Mr. Thomson for the last few years and hope that you find solace in knowing that he is finally at peace and no longer in pain. He was very lucky to have such a caring and devoted family like you, as you were to have him. You are all in my heart.
