Mr Zeccolla used to own a grocery store in Palmyra, NJ. Mom shopped there until they closed and was friends with Charlie and Henrietta for years. I lost my first tooth eating a kaiser roll out of the large oak barrel back by the meat/deli.
I still remember the old wood floor and the slamming screen door. My mom used to cut Henrietta's hair. I've never forgotten Charlie and Henrietta! I had no idea Mr. Zeccolla was still in the area. I would have loved to visit him!
