On October 27, 2017. Born at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, NJ on 10-26-1936. Predeceased by parents Adrian Jerome and Regina Helena [McSwiggan] Folcher, and by brothers Adrian Jerome Jr., Joseph Victor and Francis Xavier. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Mary Anne [O'Neill] Folcher; children, Kurt {Carol], Regina and Alexander; grandchildren, Cassandra, Emily, Sean, Mia, Claire and Lily Folcher; sister, Rita, and brother-in-law James Coghlan; sisters-in-law, Patricia [Joseph] Folcher and Dolores Hill [Francis]; mother-in-law Mary O'Neill; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Lawrence and Anna O'Neill; brother-in-law William O'Neill; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kathleen [O'Neill] and Kenneth Pridham. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Dan was a longtime resident of Haddon Township [Westmont], NJ, and parishioner of Holy Saviour Parish. He attended St. Rose of Lima Grammar School in Haddon Heights, NJ, 1951; Camden Catholic High School in Camden, NJ, 1955; and Rutgers University, Camden, Camden, NJ, BA Economics, 1965. He was a sportsman and athlete participating on teams over the years from grade school on that included baseball, softball, basketball, golf, and racket ball. His greatest love was baseball, and he could supply an answer to any question related to it.

Dan began career in construction at E.I. DuPont Corporation, Engineering Division, Construction Department, in Wilmington DE, 1965-70, then worked for Formigli Corporation, Berlin, NJ, manufacturer of architectural, structural and prestressed concrete components for industrial, institutional and residential construction, 1970-80; Manager, Planning Dept. of Formigli Development Corporation and High Associates Ltd, 1980-87. He moved on to NFI [National Freight Industries], Vineland, NJ, in 1987 as VP Construction Services. Administered real estate development effort including property management, engineering and architectural services, governmental approvals, permits and construction. Warmest gratitude is extended to all the individuals and groups who have provided prayers and support through difficult times, especially The Rock Church Prayer Group of Pitman, NJ. Many thanks to Samaritan Hospice, particularly Paula, Ivey, Richard, Joan and Amy; and to Our Lady Queen of Peace parish office staff, and Father Joe, Deacon Leo and Jim Shallow. Dan's precious memories include: Brigantine summers, late 1950's - 60's; Family vacations at the Jersey shore; Special relationships with grandchildren being their Pop; Children and grandchildren's sporting and dance events; European vacations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Ireland and Croatia from 1991-2012; Friday night dinners at Villa D'Roma, South Philly with Dominic, Fran, Jim, Pat and Phil; Trips to Saratoga and Cooperstown; Friendships developed with associates and professionals at Formigli Corp. and NFI, especially the Brown Family of NFI and the Annual Folcher Family Talent Show.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday evening from 6:30 - 9:00 PM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ. Final committal service will take place at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, Mt. Laurel, NJ. There will be No viewing Friday morning prior to Mass.
