Charlie passed peacefully on December 22, 2016. Husband of the late Martha Chomiczewski (nee Griffith). Father of the late Christopher, Stephen and Matthew Chomiczewski. Brother to predeceased Stanley, Jessie (Kochan) and Wanda (Lesniewski). Loved by many relatives and friends.

While caring tremendously for his immediate family over the years, Charlie also exhibited a kindness and generosity to others. An auto mechanic by trade, he was the owner and operator of Charlie and Son Service Center in Camden, NJ. In 2004 Charlie was honored with a commendation by Camden's Mayor Gwendolyn Faison for his 50 years of service as a business in the city and was recognized as a "Good Samaritan" to many a motorist in need of assistance. He was a well known and liked business figure in the Camden community.

He endured much tragedy and loss in the deaths of his wife and three sons over the years and impressed many with his ability to carry on in the face of such circumstances. Despite these losses and challenges with his physical health, including skin cancer in later years, he continued to express gratitude in life, always inquiring to others about their own families and quick with a "thank you" to all.

Family and friends are invited to the Graveside Service on Wednesday December 28 at 11 am, at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. Services arranged by BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, Collingswood, NJ.
