Fitzgerald A. Benson, Sr. of Lawnside, NJ on July 9, 2011; He was 85.
He is survived by his wife, Joella Benson; 3 children, Fitzgerald A. "Dino" Benson, Jr. (Lora), Leonard C. Benson and Michelle N. Blevins (Terrance); 4 grandchildren, Christina, Tiffany, Fitzgerald, III and Melissa; siblings, Harry Benson, Lillian Quarles and Rev. James Benson (Ellen); 2 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends.
Services: Saturday 12 noon at the Mt. Zion UM Church 134 White Horse Pike Lawnside, NJ where friends may call after 8:30 AM (Masonic Services observed at 10:45 AM). Interment: Monday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery~ Wrightstown, NJ. Arrangements by Carl Miller Funeral Home, Camden and Lawnside.

"Unc" will never be forgotten; Forever in our Hearts. He was known for his vegetable garden and compassionate spirit, always willing to share his crops. He is not basting in God's Garden where Everything Lives Forever.
