Frank Stella Obituary

On 8/2/2002 of Pennsauken NJ age 88 years. Beloved husband of Helen M. (nee Primavera). Devoted father of Mary Lynne Blithe of Claremont FL Janet DiBerardine of Haddon Twp. & Anita Nicholson of Sicklerville. Loving grandfather of Robert Jessica and Kristin. Dear brother of Rita Cavacini Mae Brescia James and Alphonse Stella Gilda Polo and the late Jean Hurley Ella Garafolo and Anthony Stella.
Born in Philadelphia PA Mr. Stella was a resident of Pennsauken for 50 years. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Stephens Church in Pennsauken and former Trustee of Sons of Italy and former member of the Lions Club of Pennsauken. He was also a member of the Browning Road Senior Citizen Club.
Prior to retiring in 1980 Mr. Stella was owner of the Pennco Construction Company as a general contractor for over 45 years. He was an artist and sculptor and was recently registered with the Smithsonian Institute American Art Museum for his sculpture of Christopher Colombus which stands in Cooper River Park in Pennsauken. He was also a United States Navy Veteran of World War II.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday 9:00AM at THE FALCO/CARUSO & LEONARD PENNSAUKEN FUNERAL HOME 6600 Browning Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at the Church of St. Stephen 6300 Browning Rd. Pennsauken. Entombment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park Mausoleum Cherry Hill.
