James O'Connor Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Caroline P. (nee Melchore) O'Connor. Dear father of Mary Ellen Johnston (Joe) of Pennsauken. Loving grandfather of Wendy Schmid (Michael) Loving great grandfather of Sarah and Allison Schmid.
Jim was a self employed upholsterer and at one time worked for the VanSciver Store. He was a member of St. Peter's Church of Merchantville where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Peters and served on the Honor Guard. He was a member of Al Hambra. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Tuesday at St. Peter's Church Merchantville. Friends may call beginning at 8:30am at the STEPHENSON-BROWN FUNERAL HOME 33 West Maple Avenue Merchantville. No evening viewing. Interment Brig. General William Doyle Cemetery Arneytown NJ.
