George Osborne Obituary

OSBORNE, George W., Sr. On November 29, 2009, of Bellmawr, formerly of Phila, PA. Age 70. Beloved husband of Signe (nee Svensson). Devoted father Karen Rice (Glenn), George, Jr. and John (Lisa). Loving grandfather of Ryan and Kaitlyn. Brother of Raymond, Shirley Sarkioglu and the late Jeanette Pinto, Anna Hoochuck. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Osborne was in the Fralinger String Band for 25 years as a banjo player. He was also an Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Thursday evening from 7 to 9pm and Friday morning from 8:15 to 9:15am at the GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass Friday 10am, Mary Mother of the Church, Bellmawr. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. The family requests that donations be made in Mr. Osborne's memory to Mary, Mother of the Church, 20 Braisington Avenue, Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Signe and family - My condolences to you and the family during this difficult time. Although I can still see his smiling face and feel his rap on my arm to tell me yet another story - is something I will always remember about our Corky. He was a true friend to us all and, sadly, he will be missed.
