Gloria Kavafes

Born in Stockertown PA on December 7 1926. She grew up and attended school in Allentown PA. She was known for her beautiful singing voice and had a career singing on the radio and for USO Shows in the Pennsylvania tri-state area. It was while singing on the radio that she met her beloved husband Argery Kavafes as he was working as a broadcast engineer. They were married on November 18 1950. After her marriage Gloria devoted herself to raising two children and taking care of her family.
She passed away on February 11 2008. She was pre-deceased by her husband in 2005 after 55 years of marriage. She is survived by a son Gary (Shelley) Kavafes and a daughter Denise Kavafes three grandchildren Kara Wilson Elyse Wilson and Kevin Kavafes and 2 step- grandchildren Sam and Laura Segal.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00AM at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME Rt 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton NJ. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM at the funeral home.
