Ian Cameron Obituary
AGE: 34 • Cherry Hill, NJ
On September 17, 2014, beloved husband of Ashley (nee Gibbon); cherished son of Donna and Ross Cameron; dear brother of Samantha Cameron, and loving uncle of Greta Cameron. Also survived by multitudinous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
Ian graduated from Haddonfield Memorial HS ('98) and Rutgers University Camden. He was an avid and accomplished cyclist, who worked in a variety of capacities at Danzeisen & Quigley's Bicycle Shop. Additionally, he was a budding entrepreneur in the liquor distribution industry. He was at his happiest on his bicycle and counted Star Trek, ice hockey, and good food among his favorite things. In recent years, he rekindled his childhood love of LEGO, enthusiastically joining the ranks of AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) everywhere.
Ian's family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, Sept. 20th, 3 PM at the Protestant Community Church (Cathedral in the Woods), 100 Stokes Rd., Medford Lakes, NJ; where his family will receive friends following the Service in the church's Todd Building. Interment, private. My deepest sympathies to the Cameron family in their time of grief. I met Ian when we first started working together at Desimone BMW and our paths have crossed many time since. He was a very down to earth guy and often spoke about his family and how close they were to his heart. Farwell Ian, May the wind be at your back on back final journey and may you be at peace.
