James Hearne Obituary

On April 19 2005 of Barrington NJ. Age 75 yrs.
Loving husband of Sylvia E. (nee MacIntyre). Devoted father of Robert P. and Nancy L. Hearne. Dear grandfather of Taylor Courtney and Elizabeth.
Mr. Hearne was born and raised in Barrington. For over 32 yrs. he worked for the Barrington Post Office as a Letter Carrier and Clerk. After retirement Mr. Hearne drove a school bus for the Haddon Heights Board of Education and later became a crossing guard for Barrington. Mr. Hearne was a past Fire Chief and lifelong member of the Barrington Volunteer Fire Company. In 1986 Mr. Hearne was appointed Councilman to the Borough of Barrington. Mr. Hearne was a devout member of St. Francis de Sales Church a Barrington Little League Coach and a member of the Barrington Historical Society.
Relatives friends and members of all organizations in which he was a member are invited to the visitation on Saturday from 9am at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church 199 Willmont Ave. Barrington NJ 08007 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment private at the convenience of the family. If desired the family requests that memorial donations be made to either St. Francis de Sales Church at the above address or to the First Presbyterian Church of Barrington 401 W. Clements Bridge Road Barrington NJ 08007. Arrangements by:
