James Williams Obituary
James & John Dicken, and Susan Williams
Mom
On Wednesday June 9, 2021, Susan Ann Williams left this world the same way she lived her life; selflessly loving and courageously protecting her children.
She was born on January 31, 1963 to Samuel and Doris Mondrosch. Susan was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children with every breath and would proudly boast about them to everyone. Simply being in their presence was always the highlight of her day.
She felt blessed beyond measure when grandchildren arrived and embraced every moment spent with them. They lovingly called her Nana. When she wasn't tending to family, she enjoyed spending time in her garden and took great pride in her home-grown vegetables. She also loved family trips, her cats, and planting beautiful flowers.
Susan was a fiercely strong woman who persevered through many personal hardships. Throughout life's challenges she always demonstrated remarkable courage, strength and resilience. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, thoughtful and loving nature, and devotion to her children. Susan was a truly special woman whose impact will be forever felt by the family and friends she leaves behind.

Dad
James L. Dicken of Pennsauken NJ, affectionately known as "JD" or "Pappy", took his final ride into the sunset on June 9, 2021.
It would be a tremendous understatement to say that the most important thing to Jim was the impact he had on his family. Selfless, devoted, hardworking, ingenious, and fun, he was made to be a father. The love and care for his children, and the impact he had on his family were the only things he thought about from the moment he opened his eyes each morning. Fatherhood was his destiny and he embraced it with full hearted and steadfast dedication.
He had a deep passion for cars, dirtbikes, etc. and tinkering with them in his happy place, the garage — almost always with youngest son, John Paul, by his side. He was also a fantastic cook who jumped at any opportunity to prepare a family meal.
Jim was full of life and gave his entire soul to everything he did. Whether it was family vacations to Ocean City, MD, riding trips, or highly competitive croquet games in the yard, the memories were always legendary.
A favorite saying of his that always stuck with his family was, "There are people who watch things happen, and there are people that make things happen". Jim always went above and beyond to make things happen for the ones he loved. His family spirit and unconditional love will live on forever through the lives that he touched.
Loving & devoted father of the late John Paul Dicken of Pennsauken, NJ, Andrew Dicken of Pennsauken, NJ, Anthony Dicken of Pennsauken, NJ, James Dicken Jr. of Westmont, Tara Pentz (Christopher) of Sewell, NJ, and Mark Williams (Tina Greway) of Mount Laurel, NJ.
Cherished son of the late Vince and Laura Silenzio of Maple Shade, NJ, and Paul Dicken Sr. of Toms River, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Susan Williams. John
John Paul Dicken of Pennsauken NJ, a compassionate, inspiring and exceptional young man, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021. He was 17 years old.
Born October 26th, 2003 to Susan A. Williams and James L. Dicken, he was the youngest of six siblings. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him dearly.
John had a great passion for dirt bike riding, Spending time with family and friends camping. When he wasn't riding his quad or dirt bike, he was in the shop with his father learning how to fix cars.
John was the most creative, clever, and capable kid you will ever meet. Whether it was rebuilding a dirt bike engine or designing a croquet course with wacky turns and obstacles, he always created something that was unique and memorable. John's can-do spirit, undoubtedly given to him by his father, made him one of a kind.
John also had a softer, more sensitive side. He often took thoughtful, beautiful pictures of nature. He had many kittens that he took great care of, always with the utmost love. And with seemingly random acts of kindness, John truly showed how much he cared about those around him.
Our hearts are beyond broken. John Paul, it was an honor and privilege to have you in our lives. We cherish the moments spent with you, the memories you gave us, and how you captured our hearts in ways we can never forget. We will always love you.
