Joan Miles Obituary
AGE: 74 • Medford
Joan Marie Miles, 74, of Medford, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joan resided in Medford most of her life. She was a registered nurse, and in addition to operating her own business, she worked for Miles Technologies in Moorestown, NJ. She was a devout parishioner for 44 years at St. Mary of the Lakes, and also taught C.C.D. there. Joan actively contributed to many catholic charities. She was a world traveler and enjoyed an adventure. Joan accomplished anything she set her mind to. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially her five grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Frank and Adeline Ursino; she is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Paul Miles of Delray Beach, FL, Michele and Richard Schneidereit of Medford, Michael and Denise Miles of Medford, and Chris and Cindi Miles of Medford Lakes; her sister and brother-in-law, Marlene Desmond Rogliano and Vince Rogliano of Lumberton; her five adoring grandchildren, Sheana, Leah, Sierra (CC), CJ and Macy; her nephews, Jimmy, Franny and Stephen; and countless friends.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, July 6, 2014, from 5-8PM, and again on Monday, July 7, from 9-10:30AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, at 11AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd. in Medford. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport, NJ.

Hi Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. I thought your mother was awesome. I used to love how she joked with me about always paying late when she used to call PTR for payment information on our account. I will really miss her phone calls.

To the Miles Family:
Joan was both a neighbor and friend. Rosemary and I saw her late in the afternoon on the day of her passing. She looked so peaceful. We said our good byes and remembered happy times over the years. We are sorry for your loss. The caregiver was amazed how many neighbors stopped in those last days to visit. Joan was a familiar face in neighborhood and events. She will be missed and remembered fondly.
