We have not been able to reach the family of Dr. John Fleitz, though we do want to express our deepest sympathy upon just hearing this morning that John passed away in June. What a great human being he was
and will always be remembered for his gracious life. Speaking for myself, i knew him all of my life and we were
in contact until this past year when he became so ill that conversation seemed hard. Our fondest memories of him will remain forever, and our deepest feelings and deepest sympathy go out to his family. What a magnificent human being he was, and speaking for myself, i shall never forget him. I first saw Dr. Fleitz when he was just out of medical school and began apprenticeship with Dr. Ferren. He was so young, and Claire. Such a long time ago, and yet i remember first meeting him when he was merely a young man and i very young at the time. He spent a lot of time with our family, Al Bass, Florence, Judie and Myles, and we remained in contact throughout our lives, and even when we moved far away. He was the best, THE BEST, and i shall miss him and remain so happy that we knew him. The last few times i personally spoke with him, he was not feeling well at all and we did not speak for our usual length of time. He was a wonderful person, and he shall never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Dear John. Sincerely, and speaking for all of us, our deepest sympathy to his children and family members, from Bill, Judie, and the Bass Family.

How very sad we feel today with this information that Dr. John Fleitz has passed. We remained in telephone contact for all these yrs since his retirement, until the last year. He was ill and our conversations were shorter
than in many yrs before. What a wonderful human being he was. He was a great friend to our father, and to our family, and how much he contributed to the people of Camden, New Jersey, in athletic medicine, general practice, and most especially, enormous heart
and willingness to help others. A great man. A great friend. Over the yrs we remained in contact with him,
though in the last year he was not well and conversation was minimum. We knew him as a very young doctor, working with Dr. Ferren, and certainly for the next 50+ years. On behalf of Bill and myself, and for Al Bass and his entire family. rest in peace dear john, dear Doc Fleitz. Thank YOU for being such a wonderful human being
and a great friend, and a brilliant physician. We shall never forget you. from all of us, The Bass Family/Bill, and Judie.

In addition to receiving great medical service, we collectively enjoyed the actvities at Cape Island Marina. Our slip was 2 down from Doc and Clair B43 during the 1970's. We enjoyed their company and respect their passing. Robert Habina and Dorothy Bittner Habina
