Lawnside - Leon W. "Sonny" Keaton, 76, of Lawnside, passed on Dec. 10, 2020. View Thursday 9-11am at Carl Miller Funeral Home, 831 Carl Miller Blvd., Camden. Due to COVID19 restrictions, a private service will be held at 11am. Interment: BG William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.

My main man Sonny, we worked thousands of gigs together over the last 25 yrs since I met you @ the Pub. I'll really miss working w you in the future and your great way of telling a joke, but most of all I'll miss your friendship.

Sonny, what a fun time we had growing up playing schoolyard ball at Liberty School yard, laughing and joking for hours on end. May The GOOD LORD welcome you home.

If I remember correctly Sonny lived on 8th & Spruce St. growing up ! A really great friend .Many days he kept everyone laughing with jokes and impression of comedians as we walked to school back then ! My condolences to family and Sonny may you Rest In Peace my childhood friend. Samuel Miller

Sonny was a member of The Crowd Pleasers band. He was a great organist, much appreciated and missed by his audience, band members and staff at Bob and Barbara’s.
Sincere condolences to the family at this sad time.
Sonny, thanks for the music and for sharing with us. We are lucky to have had you in our lives.
