I recently visited the closing of Longfellow school. Remembering Miss Sangarlo was a sweet memory that rushed into my heart when I approached her classroom. I am so sorry to hear of her death. I would have loved to have a conversation and a friendship as adults. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Marc, So very, very sorry for your loss. Remembering Marie from Amon Heights, always singing and smiling. So many memories growing up playing in the "alley" with the Canaris boys and all of our friends. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My cousin Marie Joan, she was my tutor in higher math classes. I'll never forget the wonderful years growing up with her and her family and the family functions. I am very sorry for her passing.

Marc, you and Marie were an amazing couple! I had her for both 4th and 5th grade. I remember being so close with you two, of coming in to help prepare her classroom with you both before the school year began. I remember when you got engaged and married. Mr. Canaris: I did not have the pleasure of having Ms. Canaris as a teacher (my sister Cathy did), but she was one of the most wonderful teachers I have known. My prayers are for you and your family at this time.

Marie - although we lost touch I thought of you often through the years. We attended school together from Roosevelt to Merchantville High School. You gave me my first Trixie Belden book in 6th grade and I never stopped reading. May you rest in peace.
