February 15, 2014

Sandy, I don't know how or even if my words will help in such an emotional time. Your father has been one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. Instantly after meeting him I felt like I'd known him for years. Not many people I have ever met have been like that. I mean I talked to him for just that one day and when his team was doing good or teams were doing good we would text back and forth and joke about sports stuff. Hell, I even called him a few times. I guess what I'm trying to say, but I'm sure you already know, is that your Dad was one of a kind! I just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'll toast one to him when the Tigers play the Philly's this year

Our hearts go out to the entire Quintus family during this difficult time. Mike was a great man, who always greeted us with a handshake and a kiss on the cheek. He always had a genuine concern for how his family and friends were doing. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten. Now, he is wearing those angel wings proud and will always be looking over and guarding his family. Rest in peace, Michael.

Our very deepest and sincere condolences to Mike's entire family and close friends. We met Mike through our lovely daughter-in-law Sandy. He welcomed our son Steve into his family with open arms. Mike always had a big smile and warm hug to welcome us. Although we only knew Mike a few short years, it was always apparent to us how much he loved life and cherished his family and friends. He was a gentle warm and kind hearted man, and it was an honor to have been a part of his life. We are so thankful that he got to spend precious time with his, and our lovely granddaughter Abigail. I know he will always be one of her guardian angels! Rest in Peace Michael!

I also worked with Mike at CFS, my condolences. One of the most decent, caring, funny, and REAL people I've been lucky enough to know. Will always remember - with both fondness and (now) sadness the many hours spent talking and laughing about work, sports, and life in this crazy world. Let's not forget all of the positive memories - and not mope too much - Mike would want it that way. Hope we meet again in the next world. Rest in peace, Brother Quintus.

My deepest and sincere condolences to Mike's family and long time friends from the Hunting Park area and St. Henry's. I first got to know Mike when he entered kindergarten ('57) with my younger brother Joe and as they went thru the eighth grade together. He then became a pitcher/first basemen for my Father Tony's team and lead them to the City Championship in '63. He carried that 15 minutes of fame for my Father through out his lifetime. Many longtime memories and great conversations thru the years from truly a heart felt man. You will never be forgotten. RIP.
