Philip Hillman Obituary
AGE: 78 • Cherry Hill
Philip S. Hillman, age 78, of Cherry Hill. Entered into Eternal Life on July 28, 2012 surrounded by Rita (nee DelRaso) his beloved wife of 56 years and their adoring children Philip (Cindy), Joseph (Eileen), Marijo (Hon. Joseph Waters), Stephen (Catherine), Douglas (Denise) and Lizanne (William Frawley). He is also survived by his loving sister Janet Usner (Warren "Sam") and his dear brother Richard (Betty) and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Phil served in the US ARMY 1953-1955 during the Korean War. Phil was a loyal employee of the Bell System for 37 years and was known affectionately as "Father Confessor" to the many who worked with him. He was also very active in his community, serving as the first PTA President of J.F.Cooper Elementary School of Cherry Hill and President of the Board of Trustees for the Greensward Homeowners Assn. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may call on Thurs., Aug. 2 2012 between 9 and 11AM at THE SCHETTER FUNERAL HOME, 304 W. Marlton Pike (Rt.70), Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Prayer Service will follow at 11AM. Entombment will be private.
